We proceed towards via A. Lazzaro Moro and via Superiore, streets that were originally part of an old popular borough; continuing forwards we reach the Torre di Porta Villalta (Tower), that already existed in the XIVth century but was deeply modified in the course of centuries. We reach the Tempio Ossario (Temple), that dominates Piazzale XXVI Luglio: the sacrarium was built between 1925 and 1936 and was designed by Provino Valle and Alessandro Limongelli.
Leaving the church we might stop and admire the Monumento alla Resistenza (Monument), a work by Federico Marconi and Gino Valle, erected between 1959 and 1969, that adorns the centre of the square.
